Alan is a commercial lawyer, business deal negotiator, recognised franchise expert and international speaker with extensive involvement in national and international transactions.


Alan has wide commercial experience working with clients in commercial, franchising and business activities plus Government and United Nations projects. As a business advisor, commercial lawyer and franchise expert, Alan has advised leading businesses on global expansion and implemented these business plans with the establishment of national and international teams of experts. Alan draws his experience from a diversified career which includes appointments to the Board of Directors of the Franchising Council of Australia (FCA), advisory board to the Barbara Hardy Institute for Sustainability and numerous Foundations and Professional Association committees.

Alan has been recognised as a leader in the field of licensing, intellectual property and franchising with awards by the FCA for special contributions given in 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 including team leader for the prestigious award of best Franchising Supplier of the Year in both 2009 and 2010. As a recognised expert in international business expansion, Alan has been invited to speak around the world at conferences in USA, Brazil, Europe and India.
